301 is an austenitic stainless with good corrosion resistance with higher carbon content to allow for cold working to a variety of tempers. It can be used in the annealed, 1/4 hard, 1/2 hard, 3/4 hard, full hard, and high yield tempers from both producers and distributors. It is commonly used in automotive trim, kitchen equipment, hose clamps, wheel covers, aircraft components and a wide variety of other industrial applications.
